The hotel was founded in the 14th century and the first recorded reference to it dates back to 1353, when it was owned by the Zoswitzers, burghers from Cheb.In 1992, the chateau was registered as number 4997 on the list of cultural monuments in the Czech Republic. This was largely because of its unique set of 15 tiled stoves that have been beautifully preserved and are now on display to visitors.
In 1997, the Chateau was successfully reunited with the traditional porcelain factory Haas and Czjzek in Horní Slavkov.

One room is suitable for disabled guests.The larger rooms also have a bath.
The rooms do not have numbers, but are instead given names that reflect their individual decoration and unique charm and style. The walls of the Country room are decorated with Sedláček's paintings, the Prague room is hung with pictures of the beautiful Czech capital and the Carlsbad room features photographs documenting the histories of the world’s most famous spas.

Breakfast buffet is included in the rate and will be served in the restaurant daily from 8 til 10am.Mostov Chateau offers a romantic dining in the unique atmosphere of tea parties and palatial soirées at the times long gone, traditional Czech cuisine, chateau menus and selected wines. You can find here an open fire place for private parties with friends, rooms for conferences or team building meetings. Gourmet restaurant Georg and Olga is at disposal to family and wedding receptions, parties, banquets, feasts. All the actions are perfectly prepared; the serving will be careful and individual.
The restaurant is open daily from 11am to 11pm.

One day excursions:This is the region of porcelain and glas manufacturing, above all Haas & Czjzek, First porcelain Manufacture in Bohemia in Horní Slavkov. No visitor should miss the excursion of the Glass Manufacture Moser in Karlovy Vary. Beerlovers will not resist the chance to visit the family owned brewery Chodovar in Chodová Planá. Gastronomy expert would hardly want to miss the excursion through the Jan Becher Museum in Karlovy Vary.
Historical Monuments:
Cheb ist one of the oldest cities in the Czech. It has historical centre in a very good condition with world known Špalíček. One of the most beautiful Central-European Romanesque sights is Castle in Cheb.
Nature:
The protected landscape area Slavkov forest of 610 km² is close by. An important part of the Slavkov forest are the extensive raised peat bogs.
Part of this area includes also the Exhibition of the Cheb Region Nature and the Park of Geology.

The next bus and train station is app. 1 km from the castle away.
Arrival by plane:
The next airport is in Karlovy Vary - app. 40 km from the hotel away.
Arrival by car from Germany and Austria:
At the junction (99) Regensburg change from "A3" onto the "A93" in direction "Regensburg", "Weiden", "A93". Leave "A93" at the junction (17) "Mitterteich-Süd" in direction "waldsassen", "Neualbenreuth", "B299", "Mitterteich-Süd", "Eger / Cheb" and join "B299". Follow the route until you leave Germany and enter the Czech Republic. Continue to drive and head straightforward onto "214", until you enter "Odrava". In Odrava turn left and drive app. 1 km until you are onto "Mostov street".
